Alyssa Milano, full name Alyssa Jayne Milano, is an actress and singer. Raised on Staten Island, New York, Milano became a child actress at the age of eight after auditioning for the role of Annie. As a young actress, she was success in appearing in numerous television commericals and off-Broadway shows. It wasn’t until she played Samantha Micelli on the television sitcom “Who’s the Boss?” that she received her break.
The bulk of Milano’s work is in film, which began with a role next to Arnold Schwarzenegger in Commando. Milano’s career has blossomed with a slate of both traditional and made-for-television films. As she matured, Milano attempted to make the difficult transition from a child to adult actor.
