source says that Nicole Richie is addicted to ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder)
medication to maintain her weight to a certain level (close to nothing) and
suppress her appetite. On March 2 she was hospitalized for dehydration after
she collapsed on the set of “The Simple Life-5”. But the real reason
was the overuse of the prescribed medication.

        “She loves Adderall because she stays
awake, and it makes her not want to eat”, says a close pal. “And she takes it
even more when she’s filming.”
